Shared Success Bonus
The Black Pearl Bonus is unique in that it is a "shared"
bonus. In fact, the formal name for the bonus is the Black Pearl Shared Success Bonus.
This bonus is not only shared by the Black Pearl qualifiers, but also by the Diamond
Pearls and Pearls who are in the personal
hosting lineage
of the Black Pearl qualifier. In this way, the bonus reaches leaders on several
generations

To share in the Black Pearl Bonus pool, you must meet two
requirements
-
Participate in the
Case Autoship (CAS)
program.
-
Hold the leadership title of Black Pearl, OR hold
the leadership title of Diamond Pearl and be personally hosted by a Black Pearl
qualifier, OR hold the leadership title of Pearl and be personally
hosted by a Diamond Pearl who is in turn personally hosted by a Black Pearl. (See Leader
Qualifications.)
Because the Black Pearl Bonus is actually shared by a group of
leaders, this creates a strong incentive for teamwork. When your personally
hosted IPCs help you advance to Black Pearl, they will also receive a share of the Black
Pearl Bonus for their work and support. By the same token, when you help those under you
to advance to Diamond Pearl, you will become a Black Pearl.
Dividing the Pool
The Black Pearl Bonus is paid every calendar quarter. Dividing up
the Black Pearl Bonus pool involves a two-step process
First, the Black Pearl pool is divided up into three separate pools,
one for the Black Pearl qualifiers, one for the Diamond Pearls who are personally
hosted by the Black Pearl, and one for the Pearls who are personally hosted by those
Diamond Pearls. The three new pools represent the following percent of the entire Black
Pearl pool

Black Pearls 60%

Pearls 24% |

Second, the money is divided proportionately within each
pool according to each qualifier's CAS8 (how many IPCs are on CAS within 8
rows). This calculation is made in the same way as the Infinity Bonus
(which see), except the Black Pearl Bonus is based on CAS8, instead of CAS20.
When a Diamond Pearl (who is personally hosted by a Black
Pearl) becomes a Black Pearl themselves, the share they would have received if
they
were still a Diamond Pearl "rolls up" and is paid to their personal
host (assuming the personal host is a qualified Black Pearl).
Black Pearl
Trip
In addition to sharing in the bonus pool, each person who achieves
the title of Black Pearl also gets to go on the fabulous Black Pearl Trip to Tahiti. The
Black Pearl Trip is the most luxurious incentive trip offered by any company in the
industry.
All expenses are paid for you and a partner, including first class
accommodations and gourmet meals. The trip includes a cruise to several islands in French
Polynesia, featuring a deluxe stateroom with veranda and 24-hour room service,
entertainment, and exotic excursions.
Other unusual activities include a helicopter ride
to a private luncheon high in the pristine interior of Tahiti, diving for real black
pearls (which you get to keep as a gift), and a gala dinner party with company executives
and government officials.

This luxurious getaway is valued at up to US$25,000 per couple. It is truly the
trip of a lifetime.

Special Maintenance Rules
The title of Black Pearl has some special qualification
rules.
First, because the Black Pearl Bonus is paid quarterly, a
leader must qualify as a Black Pearl for all three months of the calendar
quarter in order to receive the Black Pearl Bonus. This means that the qualifier
must meet the minimum group volume requirements and have at least three
personally sponsored Diamond Pearls (or higher) for each of the three
consecutive months in a calendar quarter. The calendar quarters are as follows—
1st Quarter: January, February,
March.
2nd Quarter: April, May, June.
3rd Quarter: July, August,
September.
4th Quarter: October, November,
December.
Second, if a qualifier wishes to continue to count his full CAS8 in
calculating his share of the Black Pearl Bonus, he must add one new personally
hosted
Diamond Pearl after four calendar quarters at his current qualified BP title. In other
words, if a leader qualifies as a Black Pearl "3" during four quarters (whether
or not the quarters are consecutive), then he must add a fourth Diamond Pearl in
order to continue to count 100% of his CAS8 toward calculating his share of the
bonus pool.
Once a qualifier reaches seven personally hosted Diamond
Pearls there is no further requirement to add new Diamond Pearls. However, if a
qualifier has eight or more personally hosted Diamond Pearls, he becomes a
member of the Marquesas Club and receives a special premium bonus from the Black
Pearl Bonus pool (125% of his CAS8).
If a qualifier fails to add the required new personally
hosted Diamond Pearl after four quarters at his current title, he will be
permitted to count only a portion of his CAS8 toward his share of the bonus—

A Black Pearl qualifier may not "jump" or "skip"
titles (for example, from a BP3 to a BP5). Each qualifier must hold each title for at
least four qualifying quarters before being permitted to move to the next higher title, in
order.
If a Black Pearl's CAS8 is reduced to a lower percentage because
they
fail to add another Diamond Pearl after four quarters at a given title, then the
respective share of the BP Shared Success Bonus for the Diamond Pearl and Pearl qualifiers
in their downline will also be reduced proportionately.
To become a Black Pearl requires considerable time and work. But
it's well worth it!
