Fast Start Bonus

Once you begin to personally host other IPCs, the Fast Start Bonus is your quick cash flow system. This bonus is paid every week so you can get money into your pocket quickly. (In some new emerging markets the Fast Start Bonus is paid monthly or biweekly until the market become established.)

The Fast Start Bonus program pays you on five generations of IPCs in your organization. It is important to remember that this is five generations of your personal hosting genealogy—not five placement rows (levels). In other words, a person who has been placed under you by an upline host will not be counted as a generation for Fast Start purposes. The Fast Start Bonus is paid according to personal hosting genealogy only. (See Hosting Principles.)

Fast Start Basics

The table below represents how the Fast Start Bonus is paid from your perspective at the top of the organization. In other words, how much you receive on each descending generation in your organization.

To better understand how other features of the royalty affect the Fast Start Bonus, we will examine the flow of royalties from the perspective of a purchase of a single case of product. By doing this, we can watch how the royalty flows upline to pay the generations of IPCs above the purchaser.

In the chart below, P purchases one case of product. P is on your first generation. This means that you receive the 20% royalty on the purchase. Since P is on D's second generation, D receives 5%. (D will receive 20% on your purchase of a case because you are on D's first generation.) In other words, wherever a purchase takes place in the organization, the royalties are paid upline according to how many generations below you the purchase took place.

In this example, A gets 10% on P's purchase because P is on A's fifth generation. A would get 20% on B's purchases, and 5% on C's purchases, and so forth. But for purposes of our illustration, we will concentrate solely on purchases made by P. (Just keep in mind that whatever is true for P, the same will apply to any purchase anywhere in the network.)

Before Paying Out Fast Start Bonus

Before the computer pays out the Fast Start Bonus, it asks two questions:

  1. 60 Day Rule. Has P been a new IPC for 60 days or less? If the answer to this question is "yes," then the computer goes on to question #2. If the answer is "no," then no Fast Start Bonus is paid. The royalties will be paid according to the Unilevel Royalty program instead. Fast Start Bonus is paid only on purchases made by IPCs who have been in the program less than 60 days. (NOTE: The computer actually calculates the 60 days from the time the IPC makes their first purchase, not from the registration date. If an IPC did not purchase any product when he registered, then the 60-day clock will not start to run until they made their first purchase.)

  2. Host CAS Rule. If the answer to the previous question is "yes," the computer next asks: Is the personal host of the purchaser on the Case Autoship? If the answer is "no," then no Fast Start Bonus is paid. The royalties are paid according to the Unilevel Royalty schedule. In order for Fast Start Bonus to be paid on any purchase, the personal host of the IPC buying the case, must be on CAS. If the answer to the question is "yes," then Fast Start Bonus is paid as scheduled.

However, you should note that anyone in the upline who is not on Case Auto Ship will not be paid Fast Start Bonuses. To be eligible to receive Fast Start Bonuses, you must be on CAS. If not, the computer will skip past you and pay your percentage to the next CAS-qualified IPC on the next generation above you. For instance, if B and D were not on CAS, then the bonus would be adjusted to include two new generations—i.e., Y and Z would receive a bonus from the purchase.

Personal Rebate Effect

Now let's look at how the personal rebate program affects Fast Start Bonuses. If the purchaser buys more than one case of product during the same calendar month, then the purchaser becomes eligible for a 20% personal rebate on all cases in excess of their first case. This is a way to reward IPCs who retail more product.

Let's suppose that P buys a second case of product during the month. The 20% is paid to P as his personal rebate. The other royalty percentages are shifted accordingly. Compare the following two situations:
